About The Role
We are currently seeking experienced Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) Engineers to join our client’s dynamic construction teams on major infrastructure projects across Europe. These roles are integral to ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and technical compliance throughout the construction process. The successful candidates will be responsible for implementing and maintaining quality procedures, conducting site inspections, verifying compliance with technical specifications, and documenting quality activities in line with project requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals eager to work on large-scale civil and structural projects, particularly in the rapidly expanding data centre construction sector. The positions are available in Finland, Germany, and the Netherlands, offering candidates the chance to gain international experience and work within diverse, technically demanding environments.
Qualifications
- Previous QA/QC experience within civil engineering, reinforced concrete, structural construction, or major infrastructure projects.
- Relevant technical qualifications such as Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent are preferred.
- Practical understanding of construction inspection and testing requirements.
- Experience inspecting groundworks, drainage systems, reinforcement, formwork, and concrete works.
- Proven ability to manage non-conformances, implement corrective actions, and maintain comprehensive quality documentation.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings, technical specifications, and test results accurately.
- Strong attention to detail with a methodical approach to quality assurance and record keeping.
- Confidence in raising quality concerns and ensuring follow-through on corrective measures.
- Excellent written and spoken English skills; additional languages are a plus.
- Experience in data centre construction is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with digital quality management systems or inspection software is beneficial.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with site teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
- Willingness to work on-site in Finland, Germany, or the Netherlands.

Responsibilities
- Prepare, implement, and maintain Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), checklists, and quality records to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Verify that all approved drawings, specifications, material approvals, and technical documentation are available before commencing works.
- Coordinate inspections, witness points, and hold points with relevant project stakeholders to ensure quality standards are met.
- Conduct site inspections across various construction activities including groundworks, drainage, reinforcement, formwork, and concrete placement.
- Verify that civil and structural works are completed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
- Coordinate material testing processes, review test results, and ensure they meet specified acceptance criteria.
- Maintain detailed records of material traceability, inspection reports, photographs, and supporting quality evidence for audit purposes.
- Raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) where deviations are identified and monitor corrective actions until resolution.
- Collaborate closely with site teams and subcontractors to identify potential quality issues and implement preventive measures.
- Review completed works and documentation to confirm that quality standards have been achieved before project progression.
- Maintain accurate, organized, and traceable project quality records to support project audits and handovers.
- Assist in quality audits, site inspections, and project reviews, providing detailed reports and recommendations.
- Compile comprehensive quality documentation, inspection records, and supporting evidence for project completion and handover processes.
- Promote a proactive quality culture on-site, encouraging continuous improvement and adherence to best practices among project teams.
