QA Automation Engineer
Location: London (Hybrid, 2 days per week)
Salary: £75k + Benefits
Type: Permanent Role
The Role:
- Join a high-growth technology business developing innovative digital financial products.
- Design, build, and maintain automated testing solutions across a modern microservices environment.
- Work closely with Product Managers, Developers, and QA colleagues to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Drive automation best practices and reduce reliance on manual testing.
- Execute smoke, regression, functional, and API testing activities.
- Leverage AI-powered tools to improve testing efficiency and productivity.

Requirements:
- Proven years of experience in QA Automation Engineering.
- Strong Java and/or Kotlin programming skills.
- Experience with Selenium, Selenide, or Playwright.
- Strong API testing expertise.
- Knowledge of TestNG, JUnit, and automation frameworks.
- SQL and database testing experience.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitHub Actions.
- Previous experience within Agile teams.

What Will Make You Stand Out:
- Experience testing microservices architectures.
- Exposure to JMeter or Gatling.
- Experience with Elasticsearch and Sentry.
- Strong understanding of modern web technologies.
- Experience using AI tools to enhance testing workflows.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
