QA Automation Engineer

Location: London (Hybrid, 2 days per week)
Salary: £75k + Benefits
Type: Permanent Role

The Role:

  • Join a high-growth technology business developing innovative digital financial products.
  • Design, build, and maintain automated testing solutions across a modern microservices environment.
  • Work closely with Product Managers, Developers, and QA colleagues to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Drive automation best practices and reduce reliance on manual testing.
  • Execute smoke, regression, functional, and API testing activities.
  • Leverage AI-powered tools to improve testing efficiency and productivity.

Requirements:

  • Proven years of experience in QA Automation Engineering.
  • Strong Java and/or Kotlin programming skills.
  • Experience with Selenium, Selenide, or Playwright.
  • Strong API testing expertise.
  • Knowledge of TestNG, JUnit, and automation frameworks.
  • SQL and database testing experience.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitHub Actions.
  • Previous experience within Agile teams.
