Who Are CSL Looking For?

To be a successful QA Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing the quality assurance processes for the end to-end solutions we are building, ensuring the functionality, security, usability, and performance of our products across all of the component systems (devices, platform business systems, user facing tooling etc) meets or ideally exceeds the acceptance criteria, definitions of done, standards and customers expectations. Ultimately our QA Engineers are responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our products and services are delivered to our customers demonstrating the outcome goals of critical, secure and live solutions. We are after more than just testers at CSL - while Testers focus on detecting issues, we are specifically after QA Engineers who can collaborate and work proactively to prevent them and improve overall quality for our customers.

The Role

QA Engineers play a crucial role in testing and quality assurance for CSL’s systems, products, and services. This includes ensuring test coverage, end-to-end solution testing, automation of testing, integration within CI/CD pipelines, and conducting manual testing within specific business and technology domains. The role involves collaborating with peers and supporting colleagues such as Business Process Owners, Product Managers, Software Engineers, Solution Architects, and DevOps Engineers to maintain and enhance platform quality. While automation is the long-term goal, hands-on testing remains essential. As a Mid-Level QA Engineer, you’ll be responsible for implementing test approaches, supporting the development and implementation of quality strategies plus the associated frameworks and routinely undertaking manual and automated testing activities with the aim to automate as much as possible. You’ll spend time reviewing and supporting Software engineers in creation and utilisation of unit tests to improve our unit test coverage. You will also be likely to be involved in the device hardware testing, ensuring functionality, durability, and compliance with required standards.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
