Hybrid – Remote

Assigned office – York Road

Purpose

As a QA Engineer within the IP Development team, you will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, reliable software through a combination of manual and automated testing. You’ll work closely with developers, product managers, and fellow QA engineers to validate features, identify defects, and support a smooth, test-driven delivery process. With a solid understanding of QA practices and a willingness to learn and grow, you’ll contribute to building scalable testing solutions, improving test coverage, and embedding quality into every stage of the development lifecycle. • Develop QA practices and standards
  • Support the implementation of testing processes and contribute to the ongoing improvement of QA practices across the development lifecycle
  • Execute a mix of manual and automated tests to validate new features, bug fixes, and system behaviour
  • Collaborate with developers and other team members to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines and Agile workflows
  • Maintain and contribute to existing test automation frameworks to improve coverage, speed, and efficiency
  • Participate in test planning, including defining test cases, preparing test data, and executing functional, regression, and exploratory testing

  • Engage in sprint activities such as backlog refinement and reviews to ensure testability is considered early in the process
  • Stay current with emerging tools and techniques in QA, including exploring the use of AI technologies in testing workflows (e.g., AI-assisted test generation or defect analysis)

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
