Aflac Northern Ireland

Aflac is building the specialist capability required to move AI from experimentation into scaled business impact. These roles will help transform customer and employee experiences, strengthen our enterprise AI, cloud and data foundations, and embed AI throughout the software development lifecycle so our teams can deliver better solutions faster, safely and responsibly.

Team Context

We are looking for a Quality Engineer to join one of our engineering teams. The teams deliver web, mobile, cloud, low-code and AI-enabled solutions that improve outcomes and experiences for policyholders.

This is not a traditional testing role. You will help teams think about quality throughout the software development lifecycle, from early planning through to production.

Role Context

You will be a quality advocate and technical partner for Product Owners, Engineers, Architects, Security and Support teams. You will help define testing approaches, automation, quality measures and engineering standards that give teams confidence in what they release.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
