About Foundation Health

Foundation Health is an AI operating system for pharmacy - built by a team who lived the problem firsthand, not one that came to healthcare from the outside. Every day, prior authorizations delay prescriptions, pharmacists lose hours to paperwork instead of patients, and prescriptions slip through the cracks between health systems. We believe thoughtfully applied AI can finally change that - deep, integrated infrastructure that streamlines how care is coordinated, purpose-built for the complexity of specialty pharmacy.

We're building toward a world where pharmacy teams spend their time on patients, not paperwork - where AI handles the routine so clinicians can focus on what only humans can do. Getting there takes the right people. We're looking for curious, ambitious folks who want to help solve healthcare's hardest problems - for our patients, our partners, and each other.

The Role

You'd be joining alongside our QA Lead in the US, with real ownership of building this out properly in the UK: strategy, tooling, standards, process - all still very much taking shape. There's no hands-off management here - everybody, at every level, is hands-on, and that includes you.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

And because we're AI-native by design, testing here isn't testing conventional software. You'll own how we test AI-led products in the UK - agentic workflows, LLM-based features, non-deterministic behaviour that doesn't fit a traditional pass/fail script.

We've built an AI operating system for pharmacies, tackling the operational infrastructure behind things like paperwork and care coordination. It's in production with enterprise health systems across the US, and we're working directly with one of the biggest names in pharmacy.

What you'll actually do

  • Build out the QA function (strategy, process, tooling, standards), working with our US QA Lead so both sides run as one team
  • Own how we test AI-led features: agentic workflows, LLM outputs and evaluation frameworks. You'll work out how to sign something off when it doesn't behave the same way twice
  • Write automation in Playwright and TypeScript, and do manual testing, regression and UAT yourself when a release needs it
  • Work with Engineering and Product so quality is part of how things get built, not a gate at the end
  • Help hire and grow the QA team as we scale

  • You build things. You've grown a QA function from something small, or you've been itching to. A fully formed process to inherit isn't what gets you out of bed.
  • You actually use AI. It's part of your day-to-day already. You've tested AI-led products, or you can explain clearly why it's a different problem from testing normal software.
  • You do every part of the job. You're as happy writing a Playwright suite as running a UAT session. You don't think of any of it as beneath you.
  • Your fundamentals are solid. Test strategy, defect management and release process are second nature, even when the thing you're testing is new.
  • You lead by doing. You'll grow into leading QA in the UK, but you'll still be hands-on the whole way.

The setup

  • Hybrid, Manchester city centre, 1–2 days a week in the office. When you're working out what "correct" even means for an AI system, a whiteboard and the right three people in a room beat a Slack thread every time.
  • Not local? We offer relocation support for the right person. However, you must currently be UK-based.
  • We're Series A, there's early equity, and the work genuinely changes how people get their medication.
