Job Title: QA Manager / PBM with PBM

Location: Remote

Job Summary:

The PBM QA Lead will drive end-to-end quality assurance activities across Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) systems and programs. This role focuses on leading testing efforts, ensuring high-quality delivery, and collaborating with cross-functional teams across complex PBM initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

🔹 QA Leadership & Coordination

  • Lead QA activities across PBM platforms, integrations, and releases
  • Guide and support QA analysts and testers
  • Track QA metrics and provide regular status updates

🔹 Testing & Quality Assurance

  • Plan, execute, and manage test cycles and defect tracking
  • Ensure coverage across functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing
  • Validate PBM workflows: claims adjudication, formulary, eligibility, accumulators, prior authorization
  • Support and enhance test automation efforts

🔹 Process & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to HIPAA, CMS, and regulatory standards
  • Maintain documentation for testing and audit readiness
  • Identify and implement process improvements

🔹 Collaboration

  • Work closely with product, development, and PBM operations teams
  • Coordinate with onshore/offshore teams and stakeholders
  • Support release activities and defect resolution

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of QA experience with lead-level responsibilities
  • Strong knowledge of PBM systems, pharmacy claims, and operations
  • Experience with QA methodologies, tools, and automation
  • Hands-on experience in test planning, UAT, and defect management
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with PBM platforms (RxClaim, MedImpact, OptumRx, CVS/Caremark, etc.)
  • Healthcare or insurance domain experience
  • Certifications like ISTQB, CSM, or SAFe (preferred)
  • Exposure to cloud-based systems and modern QA tools
