Quality Assurance Manager
Infotel UK is looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead QA and service management across automotive technology programmes. The role will work closely with automotive clients, engineering teams, product owners, and delivery teams to ensure high standards of quality, reliability, and compliance throughout the product lifecycle.
The ideal candidate will combine strong QA leadership with a good understanding of the automotive software ecosystem, including connected vehicles, embedded software, digital platforms, and modern Agile/DevOps delivery.
Responsibilities
- Define and implement QA strategies, standards, processes, and governance across automotive programmes
- Lead QA and service delivery teams across multiple projects and workstreams
- Manage and improve Ticket Processing & Tracking across ITSM tools
- Facilitate and execute regular stakeholder workshops
- Produce and maintain management reports, dashboards, and performance metrics using tools such as Power BI
- Validate and analyse problem lists to identify trends, risks, and data quality issues
- Prepare reporting packs and visualisations to support informed decision-making
- Work closely with engineering, software, cloud, data, and vehicle teams to identify and mitigate quality risks
- Monitor and report on QA KPIs, defects, risks, and overall quality status to senior stakeholders and clients
- Support compliance with relevant automotive standards and customer quality requirements
- Promote continuous improvement across QA processes, tools, and ways of working
- Mentor and develop QA professionals and build a strong quality culture across delivery teams

- Proven experience as a QA Manager, Quality Engineering Manager, or similar senior QA role
- Strong experience in automotive or automotive technology environments, ideally with an OEM or Tier 1 supplier
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience working directly with enterprise clients
- Excellent analytical, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in using PowerBi for reporting
- Demonstrable ability to define, implement, and improve QA processes and governance frameworks
- Knowledge of automotive standards such as ASPICE, ISO 26262, ISO/SAE 21434, UNECE R155/R156 is desirable
