If that sounds like you, we have an exciting opportunity for a QA Manager to join our Plant Quality team and play a key role in ensuring our cosmetic and medical device products meet the highest standards of quality, compliance and customer satisfaction.

This role is based on site at our manufacturing facility in Folkestone, Kent.

As QA Manager, you'll lead our Product Compliance Specialist team and oversee all product and material release activities across the site. You'll work closely with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Planning, Marketing and Quality teams, providing expert guidance on quality systems, non-conformances, continuous improvement initiatives and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the Product Compliance Specialist team, fostering a strong quality culture.
  • Oversee the release of raw materials, packaging components, semi-finished and finished products.
  • Ensure Quality documentation and TQM systems remain compliant with GMP and internal requirements.
  • Act as the key Quality contact for manufacturing, packaging and product-related issues.
  • Lead investigations into non-conformances, root cause analysis and CAPA implementation.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across quality systems and operational processes.
  • Partner with Planning, Production, Supply Chain and Project teams to support business objectives and new product introductions.
  • Manage sampling and testing programmes for materials and components.
  • Generate and analyse quality KPIs, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support internal and external audits as a Quality Subject Matter Expert.
  • Coach, develop and assess team members to build capability and drive performance.
  • Support supplier quality activities, quality agreements and customer complaint investigations.

Education & Experience:

  • Extensive experience within a Quality Assurance role in a regulated industry such as FMCG, Medical Devices or Pharmaceuticals.
  • Proven experience leading and developing teams.
  • Degree-level qualification in a scientific discipline preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of GMP, ISO 22716 and/or ISO 13485.
  • Experience with quality tools including Root Cause Analysis, FMEA and CAPA.
  • Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies advantageous.
  • Experience analysing and interpreting quality data and presenting findings to stakeholders.

Organised, analytical and solutions-focused, you'll enjoy working across multiple functions to drive compliance, improve performance and resolve complex quality challenges. You'll be comfortable leading teams, coaching others and communicating technical information clearly to a wide range of audiences. Most importantly, you'll be passionate about maintaining high standards and continuously improving the way we work.

This role works Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week.
