Ready to lead quality assurance on one of the UK’s most ambitious infrastructure projects?

Do you thrive in highly regulated environments where precision and compliance are critical? Want to play a key role in delivering zero-carbon energy to millions of homes?

Here at GXO, we’re looking for a Quality Audit Manager to join our team at Weston-Super-Mare, where we’re building the next generation of nuclear power stations. As a Tier One partner to NNB, we manage critical warehousing and transportation services, and this role is at the heart of ensuring our operations meet the highest standards of nuclear quality, safety, and compliance.

This is a high-impact position where you’ll drive quality assurance strategy, lead audit programmes, and champion a strong safety-first culture across the business.

This is a full-time permanent position. You’ll be working Monday to Friday, 08:00 till 16:00 with a requirement for regular travel between sites. However, some flexibility is required, this is logistics after all!

Pay, benefits and more:

  • We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £40,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a company car and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays).
  • Your benefits package includes a company sponsored pension scheme.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
