QA Officer – 12–14 Month FTC
Location: London
Working Pattern: 1 day per week in the London office
Contract: 12–14 month Fixed-Term Contract
Start: ASAP
We are working with a well-established pharmaceutical company who are looking to appoint a QA Officer on an urgent basis for an initial 12–14 month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a Quality professional to join an established pharmaceutical environment and support a range of day-to-day Quality Assurance activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day operation of the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Manage and support deviations, CAPAs, change controls and quality events through to completion.
- Support the review and approval of relevant GMP documentation and records.
- Assist with SOPs, quality documentation and controlled documents.
- Support internal and external audits and inspections where required.
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure ongoing GMP and regulatory compliance.
- Identify and escalate quality issues and support appropriate corrective and preventative actions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the Quality function.

Requirements
- Previous experience working within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical environment.
- Experience within a Quality Assurance / Quality role.
- Good working knowledge of GMP and pharmaceutical quality systems.
- Practical experience with deviations, CAPA and/or change controls.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a wider Quality team.
