Are you an organised and detail-focused individual with experience in a manufacturing environment? We're recruiting a Quality Assurance Officer to join a leading UK manufacturing business near Preston.
Working within the Quality team, you'll play a key role in supporting production operations by preparing, reviewing, and controlling quality documentation while helping to ensure products are manufactured and released in line with customer and regulatory requirements. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career within Quality Assurance, with full training provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, maintain, and issue batch manufacturing and packing records
- Review completed production documentation for accuracy and compliance
- Maintain controlled quality documentation and records
- Create Certificates of Analysis (CoA) and Certificates of Conformance (CoC)
- Support batch release activities and maintain quality trackers
- Coordinate external sample shipments and archive quality records
- Process customer complaints and respond to quality-related requests
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure documentation is completed accurately and on time

About You
We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive, and enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience in a Quality Assurance, Quality Administration, or similar documentation-based role
- Experience within a manufacturing, production, or packaging environment
- Excellent administration and organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Good Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of GMP or other regulated manufacturing environments would be advantageous, although full training will be provided.
