Are you a detail-driven QA professional who thrives on ensuring every weld, material and document meets the highest standards? We're looking for a QA/QC Engineer to join our team and play a key role in delivering compliant, high-quality fabrication work.

What you'll be doing

You'll take ownership of quality throughout the project lifecycle, working hands-on with standards, inspections, documentation and final manufacturing records.

Standards & Compliance

  • Interpret and apply key codes and procedures including EN 13480, RCC-M, RCC-E, BTR, BTS and EM09 to keep the project fully compliant.

Inspection & Verification

  • Review Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) to confirm they match material type, thickness and diameter.
  • Check consumable control, welder qualifications (including prolongations) and material traceability.
  • Verify that materials and dimensional accuracy match the isometrics/drawings.
  • Confirm calibration status of equipment, gauges and measuring tools.
  • Ensure welding parameters, procedures and SQEP personnel qualifications are followed.
  • Review NDT reports for full compliance.

Work Pack & Documentation Control

  • Carry out thorough reviews of work packs checking signatures, stamps, sequential dates, revisions and that no fields are left blank (N/A applied where required).
  • Confirm SQEP personnel understand and correctly complete inspection points.
  • Perform final documentation reviews against client requirements.

End of Manufacturing Records (EOMR)

  • Compile the End of Manufacturing Report using the IRC format EOMR tool.
  • Review scanned final documentation for correct format.
  • Create Certificates of Conformity (CfC), allocate ICRs and link any related NCRs or TQs.
  • Complete a full EOMR review and make minor documentation amendments as needed.

Who we're looking for

Someone with solid experience in QA/QC within fabrication, pressure systems or nuclear environments who is comfortable working with the codes listed above and who takes pride in clean, accurate documentation.
