ABOUT CASCADE
Cascade is an AI-native, end-to-end filmmaking platform, built by filmmakers, for filmmakers. In one seamless, web-based environment, creators can go from first idea through script, storyboard, character generation, scene assembly and final edit – without leaving the platform.
Our Open Beta is live, and we've moved from launch mode into growth – building a roster of creative partners and an audience of independent filmmakers and directors who are making the case for our platform.
The creator economy is $250 billion and growing at 22% a year. Over 50 million filmmakers and creators are drowning in fragmented tools and broken workflows. Cascade replaces the stack.
THE ROLE
Build the automated quality system that allows Cascade to release quickly without repeatedly breaking critical customer workflows. This is not a manual-only QA role. It owns automated end-to-end, API, contract, and visual-regression testing, along with release gates and failure investigation.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
- Automated coverage of the most important customer journeys.
- End-to-end testing of project setup, AI generation, editing, collaboration, and output workflows.
- Visual-regression coverage for complex editor surfaces.
- API and contract tests for critical backend boundaries.
- Tests for failed, cancelled, retried, and long-running operations.
- Release gates, parallel execution, stable fixtures, and actionable failure reporting.
- Flaky-test identification and quarantine.
- Regression tests for production incidents.
- Quality metrics and release-readiness reporting.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Get help with your application
Your very own career expert that helps elevate your application to the next level.
- We build from scratch, we do not maintain the status quo: Builder mindset
- Everything we do is in service of the storytellers using our platform: Creator-first
- Speed matters, and so does quality - we do not sacrifice one for the other: Move fast, ship well
- We say what we think, give feedback clearly, and expect the same in return: Honest and direct
- We use AI at every level, including in how we work and expect our team to do the same: AI-native
OUR BRAND VALUES
- Story first. Always. Every decision exists in service of the story. The technology is the means. The story is the thing. Every product decision, every design choice, every line of copy exists to serve one purpose — getting great stories made.
- Democratise great filmmaking. Talent is everywhere. Opportunity isn't. Cascade exists to level the playing field — so the best ideas get made regardless of budget, backing or postcode.
- Supercharge the human. Don't replace them. Storytelling is an art. AI is a tool, not a creative director. The best work comes from people with vision, instinct and an understanding of performance, pacing and story. Cascade is designed to supercharge that talent — not replace it.
- Slick by design. Relentless by nature. Cascade is built to be powerful, intuitive and genuinely easy to use. And we believe things can always be better, so we'll never stop listening, improving and working to support the people using Cascade.
