QA Technical Auditor - Nights

Rate of Pay: £13.98/hour + 20% Nightshift uplift
About The Team:
The QA Technical Auditor is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the food safety and compliance standards of the site through audits and checks throughout our large warehouse facilities.
You will be working to ensure best practices are followed at all times. Guided by our Compliance Lead, you’ll be directed to maintain the highest product standards whilst delivering on business KPIs working within the FSQA team.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Responsible for conducting audits and inspections of our facilities and processes, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, industry standards, and our internal quality assurance protocols.
- Completion of whole-site site audits, including but not limited to GMP, quality compliance, ice process and yard audits.
- Raise and escalate food safety and quality issues and ensuring clear and effective communication.
- Carry out routine processes such as, but not limited to, temperature monitoring, scale verification checks.
- Provide support to the wider site FSQA team with food safety and quality issues.
- Maintain up to date and accurate records (including computerized/digital) on production, food safety data and analyse this data to identify trends, problems and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensuring that Food Safety and Health & Safety standards are met and sustainably maintained. You are required to cooperate with HelloFresh in all health and safety matters. You are responsible for ensuring your own health, safety and welfare in the activities you undertake. You must report incidents immediately and actively raise health and safety-related concerns to your Line Manager.
- Undertaking basic problem solving activities and escalating to the Compliance Lead where necessary.
- Ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures and Instructions.
- Undertaking audits and following through on actions regarding compliance to Food Safety; and any other specified standards eg: BRCGS.
- Leading or being involved in ad hoc projects as and when required.
- Any other responsibilities/duties which would be reasonably expected as part of this role.

Who You Are:
- HACCP level 2
- Foods Safety level 2
- Some experience in a technical role within the food industry.
- Proficiency in using Google-Suite Software.
- Good knowledge of food production processes.
- Familiarity with food safety and quality standards.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive and resourceful problem-solving skills.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ensure that HelloFresh DNA is at the centre of our work.
- Quick and effective problem solver.
- Work well under pressure and have the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to work well with your hands.
- MHE experience (PPT, Reachtruck, Counterbalance) required but not essential as full training will be provided but is an integral part of the role.
