Protect the Quality behind Britain’s favourite pies!

At Pukka, we're passionate about making great food that customers know, trust and love. As one of the UK's most recognisable savoury bakery brands, quality, food safety and continuous improvement are at the heart of everything we do.

We're looking for a QA Technologist to join our Technical Team and play a key role in maintaining and improving the high standards that underpin our products and our reputation.

This is an exciting opportunity for a food manufacturing professional who enjoys solving problems, investigating root causes, driving improvements and working closely with operational teams to make a real difference.

As a QA Technologist, you'll be a key member of our Technical function, helping to ensure our products consistently meet the highest standards of food safety, quality, authenticity and legality.

  • Conducting audits, verifications and food safety checks across the business
  • Investigating quality and food safety issues and identifying effective solutions
  • Partnering with Production teams to assess and manage quality risks
  • Analysing data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Supporting continuous improvement projects and quality initiatives
  • Supporting compliance with BRC and site technical standards
  • Supporting and developing colleagues to maintain a strong food safety culture across site.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
