QAD Solution Engineer
QAD Solution Engineer to join a UK leading brand on a 14 month initial contract.
100% remote, excellent rates (Inside IR35), long term engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and customise QAD applications using Progress 4GL/ABL.
- Maintain and query Progress OpenEdge and SQL databases.
- Support and troubleshoot system integrations and data interfaces.
- Provide Level 2/3 technical support and resolve application and data issues.
- Develop SQL queries, reports, and data extracts.
- Support testing, UAT, upgrades, patches, and deployments.
- Produce technical documentation and work with technical/business teams to resolve issues.

Required Skills & Experience
- 3–6 years of technical QAD ERP experience.
- Strong Progress 4GL/ABL and OpenEdge database experience.
- Good SQL and relational database knowledge (MS SQL/Oracle).
- Understanding of SAP integrations and common integration methods.
- Experience with QAD reporting tools, Cyberquery, Excel, or SQL-based reporting.
