Role Description
This full-time, on-site QA/QC role is based at the company’s facility in Wisbech. The position is responsible for monitoring product quality throughout the production process, performing routine inspections, checks, and sampling, and documenting results in line with internal procedures. The role includes supporting quality assurance activities, such as reviewing records, investigating non-conformances, and assisting with corrective and preventive actions. The QA/QC professional will work closely with production teams to ensure compliance with food safety, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), and company standards, as well as participate in internal audits and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

- Candidates should possess Quality Control and Quality Assurance skills applicable to food production environments.
- Candidates should possess experience in Quality Management, including maintaining and improving quality systems and processes.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and its practical application in food manufacturing.
- Candidates should possess Quality Auditing skills, including conducting internal audits and preparing for external inspections.
- Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, accurate record-keeping abilities, and familiarity with food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, BRC or similar).
- Candidates should possess effective communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively with production and technical teams, and strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Candidates should possess relevant experience in food manufacturing or a similar regulated industry; vocational or academic qualifications in food science, quality management, or a related field are beneficial.
