Description Overview
Join Perrigo as a Quality Control Analyst. You will undertake routine physical, chemical, and microbiological analysis of incoming raw materials, in-process bulk materials, finished products, stability, and non-routine analysis as specified. To undertake the microbiological environmental and hygiene monitoring, purified water testing and PET testing as needed.
The position is for a Night Shift Role. The working hours will be as follows: Sunday (night) 00:00 - 06:00 and Monday - Thursday 22:00 - 06:00.
Scope of the Role
- Analytical or Microbiological Testing
- Testing appropriate materials and products to the approved specification, method, or protocol.
- Processing and recording of data for completed analysis adhering to data integrity and cGMP requirements.
- Peer review of completed analysis.
- Investigation of non-conformance.
- Report on and investigate instances of non-conformance in line with the laboratory out-of-specification procedure.
- Routine Chemical and Microbiological testing of purified water.
- Microbiological monitoring of process environments for microbiological contamination.
- Training and mentoring or trainee analysts, adhering to the parameters of the laboratory training procedures.
- To undertake such other reasonable duties as may be required from time to time to support the Perrigo business.
- Consistently views product quality and GMP compliance as a personal responsibility.
- Takes ownership for quality in their area and/or activities conducted by them and does not assume that errors will be caught by someone else.
- Only carries out tasks they are trained to complete and proactively highlights quality issues and potential solutions to their leader.

Experience Required
- GCSE Grade C (or equivalent) in English Language, Maths, and Science.
- Minimum A-level (or equivalent qualification) in a science-based subject.
- BSc in relevant scientific subject (or equivalent experience) is desirable but not mandatory.
- Intermediate computer literacy with good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office packages.
- Acts in accordance with Perrigo’s core values.
- Creative problem-solving.
