Scope
EVS is the leader in video production servers and live content management. We deliver live video and emotions to billions of people, every day.
Used by customers across the world, Cerebrum plays a key role in the production of major global sporting events and live programs such as news and studio management.
Cerebrum allows customers to create customized workflows that operators can access through thick or thin clients and performs Control and Orchestration of Broadcast Systems, routing and tallying signals across SDI, IP and Hybrid technologies as well as the control of third-party devices.
Our development processes are based on Scrum; we work in agile teams with continuous integration and automated tests.
As a Software Engineer in Test Automation you will ensure the quality control of features developed within an Agile team:
- By analysing requirements, developing and executing different suites of test cases and test plans
- By documenting the results of test executions and guaranteeing the follow up of defect handling
Job Description
- Analyse product requirements and specifications
- Create adequate test plans, based on risk assessment and time constraints
- In collaboration with other team members, design, estimate and implement test cases according to the test strategy and plan
- Contribute to the continuous integration and delivery of features, with a focus on continuous improvement
- Be proactive to improve test coverage, test solutions at scale and to find defects early in development cycle
- Write and keep up-to-date technical documentation in the appropriate data systems
- Ensure ongoing communication with and feedback to development team during testing phase

Profile
Technical Skills:
- Bachelor or Master degree in ICT, Computer Science or equivalent degree / experience
- 5 – 8 years’ experience in quality assurance or application testing
- Familiar with Rest API testing (Postman)
- Familiar with defect tracking software (Jira)
- Experience in developing automated tests (Cypress, Playwright or Jest)
- Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS
The following experiences are not mandatory and will be considered an asset:
- ISTBQ Certification
- Familiar with Jira Xray, Confluence
- Knowledge of Containers / Docker, Kubernetes
- Experience in Continuous Integration (preferably TeamCity)
- Experience or knowledge of the Broadcast Industry
