Are you a QC professional who thrives on keeping laboratory equipment running at peak performance, ensuring data integrity, and maintaining audit-ready standards?
One of our long-standing pharmaceutical partners is expanding and now seeking a QC Equipment Team Leader to take ownership of QC instrumentation, equipment lifecycles and key computerized systems across a busy GMP environment.
This is a hands-on leadership role with real influence — ideal for someone who enjoys developing people, improving systems, and driving compliance excellence.
What You’ll Be Doing as QC Equipment Team Leader

- Managing and executing validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ) and overseeing site calibration programmes, including coordination of external service providers.
- Acting as system owner for key QC platforms (e.g., Empower, LabX), ensuring robust CSV, data integrity, and regulatory compliance.
- Maintaining equipment and validation status within electronic systems such as LIMS, ensuring audit-ready documentation at all times.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
