SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
Control the product quality according to specifications by testing and analyzing to ensure that the products are in accordance with relevant specifications.
Responsibilities
- Receive and register samples from production
- Analyze according to given methods and compare results with specification
- Ensure efficient work so that QC processes are done in the shortest possible time
- Incoming Raw Material Quality control
- Measure and follow up KPIs as agreed
- Issue Certificate of Analysis (CoA), distribute and file as required
- Store retain samples and remove old samples on the expiry date
- Ensure that instruments have been calibrated according to standard

What We Look For
Key Skills & Experience
- Experience conducting quality control testing within a manufacturing or laboratory environment.
- Knowledge of paint and coatings test methods, including viscosity, density, gloss, colour, pH, solids, and drying characteristics.
- Ability to accurately follow test procedures, specifications, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high quality standards.
- Experience investigating quality issues and supporting root cause analysis activities.
- Ability to interpret test results, identify non-conformances, and communicate findings effectively.
- Familiarity with quality management systems and documentation requirements.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Competent in recording, analysing, and reporting quality data.
- Good communication skills with the ability to work effectively with different departments and cross-functional teams
- Flexible, hands-on approach with a focus on continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications
Essential
- A-Level, BTEC Level 3, NVQ Level 3, apprenticeship, or equivalent qualification in Chemistry, Science, Manufacturing, or a related discipline.
- Experience working in a quality control, laboratory, technical, or manufacturing environment.
Desirable
- HNC/HND or Degree in Chemistry, Applied Science, Materials Science, Coatings Technology, or a related discipline.
- Experience within paints, coatings, chemicals, adhesives, inks, or similar manufacturing industries
