Main Purpose:
To provide Medical Propellant manufacturing, packing operations and its customers with a Quality Control and analysis service in order that requirements for process control, product quality, and current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) are satisfied.

Shift pattern: 4 days on (7am to 7 pm) followed by 8 days off
Key Responsibilities:
- To accurately analyse, validate and record results for Medical propellants plant and packing operations samples. To ensure production processes and final product quality is controlled within agreed specifications and procedures.
- To review and validate the analysis of other analysts in line with operating requirements.
- Prioritise work supporting business production, sales and customer demands.
- Provide sickness or planned cover for the shift team to ensure 24 hours continuous operations in the laboratory.
- Carry out investigation into any abnormal results and report to the Medical QC Team Leader, production personnel, and/or the Quality Assurance Team Leader as appropriate.
- Maintain the laboratory and analysis equipment in line with full requirements of Good laboratory and current Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Ensure all sample, analysis and testing work is carried out in full compliance with written procedures, cGMP and SHE standards.

Requirements:
- Minimum: HNC/HND Chemistry
- Desirable: Degree Chemistry or related subject.
- Knowledge from experience of working in a QC laboratory, preferably to cGMP standards or similar accreditation.
- Knowledge of Analytical techniques and wet chemistry testing performed in the Medical Propellants QC lab.
- Experience of working in a QC Laboratory, preferably one working to cGMP standards.
