Are you an experienced Quality Control professional looking to take the next step in your leadership career?
We're recruiting for a QC Team Leader to join a well-established pharmaceutical manufacturing business during an exciting period of investment and growth. This is an opportunity to lead a team of QC Analysts, play a key role in developing laboratory capability and help drive quality, compliance and continuous improvement across the site.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll combine your technical laboratory knowledge with people management responsibilities, supporting the day-to-day operation of the QC laboratory whilst ensuring the highest standards of GMP and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop a team of QC Analysts.
- Oversee day-to-day laboratory activities and workload planning.
- Review QC testing across raw materials, in-process, finished products and stability samples.
- Support investigations, CAPAs, change controls and continuous improvement activities.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP and Data Integrity requirements.
- Review and update SOPs, analytical methods and laboratory documentation.
- Work closely with QA, Manufacturing and other departments to support operational priorities.
- Promote a positive quality culture and support ongoing team development.
About You
We're keen to speak with candidates who have:
- Experience leading or supervising a Quality Control laboratory team.
- A pharmaceutical manufacturing background.
- Strong knowledge of GMP and pharmaceutical quality standards.
- Experience of chromatography techniques such as HPLC and/or GC.
- Experience supporting investigations, CAPAs and quality systems.
- The ability to coach, develop and motivate others.
- A degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent industry experience.

- 45,000 - 50,000 basic salary
