Your Role in Synergy's Success
You will support the Quality Control function by carrying out testing, inspection, and auditing activities across the site, ensuring compliance with quality, food safety, and regulatory standards. You will play a key role in maintaining product quality, supporting food safety objectives, and contributing to the continuous improvement of quality systems and processes within the Quality team.
How You Will Contribute
- Carry out quality testing and inspections of finished products and raw materials.
- Manage retention samples, ensuring accurate records and full traceability.
- Support sensory and panel assessments as required.
- Work with Production teams on quality-related projects and provide cover when required.
- Support BRCGS audit preparation and ongoing Quality Management System activities.
- Assist with investigations into non-conformances, complaints and quality incidents.
- Carry out GMP, hygiene and quality audits across production and warehouse areas.
- Complete traceability and mass balance exercises in line with internal audit requirements.
- Maintain accurate quality records and documentation.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on product quality, food safety and operational performance.
- Provide wider Quality Assurance and Quality Control support as required.

Key Ingredients for Success
Essential
- Experience or knowledge of working within a Quality, Food Safety, Manufacturing or Laboratory environment.
- Good attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Strong organisational and record-keeping skills.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with different teams.
- Ability to follow procedures and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable
- Experience within the food manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of GMP, HACCP or BRCGS requirements.
- Experience carrying out quality testing, inspections or audits.
- Experience using quality management systems or databases.
