Location/Division Specific Information

Part of the Drug Products Division, the Swindon facility specialises in taking sterile injectable, oral solid dose and softgel drug products from development to commercialisation.

Position Summary

We are expanding our Swindon site and seeking a QC Technician II for our Quality Control Department. This entry-level role is ideal for someone eager to start a career in a laboratory environment. Full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Follow GMP, Health & Safety, and company policies
  • Perform daily QC sampling of raw materials and maintain area cleanliness
  • Accurately complete documentation and use SAP (training provided)
  • Clean equipment and sampling booth per SOPs
  • Apply environmental monitoring plates
  • Maintain and verify equipment; update training records and support team training
  • Contribute to process improvements and support the wider QC Chemistry team
  • Communicate clearly with colleagues

Requirements

Education

  • High School Diploma, Secondary Education, Advanced Certificate, or equivalent.

Experience

  • Not required but will be considered as an advantage

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow written instructions consistently.
  • Experience working under tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
  • Proficient in basic maths and literacy.
  • Computer literate, familiar with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel).
