QC Technician III (Microbiology) - Full Time

We are looking to appoint a QC Technician III (Microbiology) to join the QC department on a full-time basis.

As part of a dedicated team, you will perform inspections, check testing and sampling procedures for product manufacturing processes. You will carry out packaging line, manufacturing inspections and sampling and testing of incoming components and raw materials to ensure that company standards are met. You may assist with validating or troubleshooting testing methods, including assays.

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Perform microbiological sampling and testing of site utilities such as purified water, compressed gases, and pure steam, along with microbial testing, including but not limited to bioburden assessment using filtration; detection of endotoxin; basic identification of microorganisms; media growth promotion, etc.
  • Work in a variety of business units, such as the QC Microbiology laboratory, production environments, and GMP cleanrooms.
  • Keep accurate and detailed records of all laboratory work in accordance with company procedures.
  • Complete Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) testing paperwork to a high specification in line with ALCOA (Attributable, Legible, Contemporaneous, Original, and Accurate) expectations.
  • Ensure laboratory media, chemicals, and consumables are stocked to prevent testing delays.
  • Ensure equipment, instruments, and facilities within the laboratory are calibrated, and kept serviceable.
  • Ensure all QC working practices are in compliance with the requirements of EudraLex v. 4, where required.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
