DP World are recruiting for an experienced and proactive QEHS Manager to join our growing team at our brand-new site in Coventry. This role is responsible for leading the site's Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety strategy, ensuring compliance with industry standards while driving a culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence, and employee engagement. The successful candidate will work closely with operational teams and customers to enhance quality performance, improve safety standards, and maintain world-class management systems.
About The Role
How you will contribute:
- Lead and manage the site's Health & Safety Management System, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and company standards.
- Deliver Health & Safety training, coaching, and guidance to operational teams, promoting a positive safety culture across the site.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, analysing trends and implementing corrective actions to reduce risk and improve performance.
- Monitor and report key Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety performance metrics, developing improvement plans where opportunities are identified.
- Manage the site's Environmental Management System, ensuring compliance with environmental legislation and sustainability objectives.
- Analyse customer and operational data to identify trends, support problem-solving activities, and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
- Lead and develop the site's Quality function, providing direction, coaching, and support across all operational shifts.
- Maintain quality documentation, including work instructions, PFMEAs, process control plans, and other quality management documentation.
- Develop, implement, and monitor effective corrective and preventive actions using recognised problem-solving methodologies to minimise process variation.
- Manage quality reporting processes, ensuring accurate and timely communication of performance and improvement activities.
- Champion Lean and continuous improvement initiatives, supporting the development of efficient processes and embedding a culture of operational excellence.
- Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the site's Quality Management System, reporting on its effectiveness to senior management.
- Generate, analyse, and communicate performance data using reports, dashboards, and quality management tools to support informed decision-making.
- Maintain ISO management systems and documentation, supporting ongoing compliance and certification requirements while promoting best practice across the site.
- Act as an ambassador for DP World at all times, promoting company values, safety standards, ethical practices, and a culture of continuous improvement.

Your Key Skills/Experience
- NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) as a minimum qualification.
- Previous experience in a Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety management role, ideally within the logistics, automotive, manufacturing, or supply chain sectors.
- Strong knowledge of Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety management systems, including ISO standards.
- Experience investigating incidents, analysing data, and implementing effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Knowledge of quality tools and methodologies, including PFMEA, process control plans, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement techniques.
- Experience leading teams, coaching colleagues, and influencing stakeholders across operational environments.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and produce meaningful reports and performance metrics.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of the business.
- Knowledge of Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies, with practical experience driving operational improvements.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a commitment to delivering high standards of quality, safety, and environmental compliance.
