  • Work day-to-day in a small CAD / QGIS team within the RSK Geosciences division, helping engineering staff by producing high quality drawings for their projects.
  • Daily contact with engineering staff to approve drawings and react to changes in deadlines.

  • You will be encouraged to identify and undertake a personal project that utilises skills you have developed, that can be linked to personal interests and is of benefit to the wider RSK Group. This could be exploring new opportunities or research projects in collaboration with another RSK business or 3rd party (with benefit to RSK), or involvement in an area of RSK Geosciences.
  • In addition to the typical duties and responsibilities listed above, the job holder may be required to perform other related duties as necessary to the strategic implementation of the business plan of RSK.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
