Role Description
The QHSE Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Aberdeen Area. The role involves supporting clients with the development, implementation, and maintenance of Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental management systems, with a strong focus on ISO standards and regulatory compliance. - Conducting risk assessments
- Performing internal audits
- Preparing and reviewing policies and procedures
- Providing practical advice on QHSE improvements
- Delivering training and coaching sessions
- Contributing to incident investigations
- Assisting clients with corrective and preventive actions

The QHSE Advisor will also require close collaboration with client stakeholders to identify gaps, recommend solutions, and track progress against agreed objectives.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and practical experience in Health & Safety and Occupational Health, with the ability to apply these principles in diverse workplace environments.
- Experience in Environment Health and Safety (EHS), including understanding of environmental regulations and best practices for sustainable operations.
- Proven auditing skills, including planning, conducting, and reporting audits for ISO management systems and internal compliance checks.
- Relevant Health & Safety qualifications such as NEBOSH (or equivalent), demonstrating competency in safety legislation and risk management.
- Experience working with ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, or ISO 27001 management systems, including implementation and ongoing maintenance.
- Lead Auditor Qualifications in the above.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and develop practical improvement actions.
- Clear and professional communication skills, with experience in delivering training, coaching, and engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work independently on client sites, manage multiple projects, and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with standard office software and report-writing tools; familiarity with QHSE documentation and reporting systems is an advantage.
- Previous experience in consultancy, advisory, or a similar QHSE role is beneficial.
