About the role
- To provide competent advice, and support to onsite operational teams to enable them to carry out their QHSE responsibilities.
- To ensure the Mitie sites within your portfolio are audit ready for external and internal and Client audits.
- Complete accident reports and Investigations where required.
- Create, review and maintain risk assessments, method statements, site packs as required.
- Manage contractors on site including induction to permit to work.
- Deliver QHSE training modules and briefing material as required.
- Reviewing service provision to ensure compliance with clients' QHSE standards.
- To ensure the alignment of any sector specific QHSE plans to the business needs and sharing of best practice.
- Support with QHSE communications to onsite teams to help drive QHSE compliance.
- Complete onsite QHSE LiveSafe site reviews and internal audits.
- To work collaboratively within the QHSE team to deliver functional QHSE standards across portfolios.
- Promote a positive Health and Safety, and Sustainability culture and demonstrate how Mitie QHSE adds value to the business.

About You
- Relevant third level qualification in Health & Safety or Environment.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Enthusiastic, someone who strives for excellence.
- Take the initiative and strive for opportunities for improvement.
- Excellent organizational skills with an ability to prioritize key tasks.
- Honest, transparent, and consistent.
- Have a flexible approach with a "can do" attitude.
- A willingness to be "on site" in our business.
- Passionate about QHSE and dedicated to further reducing & eliminating risks that may face colleagues whilst at work.
- Challenge and confront unsafe behaviors.
- Positive, open & collaborative.
- Hold a relevant full driving license and willingness to travel in Northern Ireland (vehicle will be provided).
- Experience with ISO 45001 & COSHH regulations would be desirable.
