QHSE Engineer – Offshore
Location: Norfolk, UK (onsite, with offshore visits)
Contract: Ongoing, monthly timesheet
Hours: 12 hrs/day

The Role
As QHSE Engineer, you'll join infrastructure and civil projects supporting the company's wider operations, taking day-to-day responsibility for coordinating and supervising all QHSE matters on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise the workforce on QHSE matters; deliver training, inductions and toolbox talks
- Carry out audits and inspections to ensure QHSE programmes are effective
- Recommend improvements and follow up on implementation
- Complete risk assessments and support the rollout of control measures
- Maintain and continuously improve the QHSE management system
- Escalate and communicate key QHSE issues and improvement initiatives to the QHSE department
- Support investigation of incidents — gathering documentation, tracking corrective actions and confirming their effectiveness
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant labour legislation and codes of practice

Technical Requirements
- 7+ years' experience in a similar QHSE role
- Strong working knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong knowledge of VCA
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001
- Fit for offshore work

Qualifications & Certification
- MSc in Civil, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering (or equivalent experience), OR MSc in Safety Engineering / Prevention Advisor Level 1
- Basic Safety Training (CSCS/VCA or equivalent)
- NEBOSH qualification highly preferred
Eligibility & Languages
- UK residency or valid UK visa/work permit required
- Fluent English (written and spoken) essential; additional languages a plus
