Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be supporting a growing technology and electronics business with the appointment of a QHSE Engineer.
This is a broad, hands-on role working closely with the QHSE Director, supporting the development, maintenance and continual improvement of Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental systems across a multi-site operation.
The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining existing certifications, supporting new certifications and helping to develop a consistent QHSE culture across the business.
Responsibilities
As QHSE Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting QHSE activities across multiple locations
- Developing and maintaining QHSE management systems
- Supporting the harmonisation of standards including ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
- Supporting certification to additional standards such as ISO 13485 and IATF 16949
- Planning and conducting internal and supplier audits
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
- Leading or supporting root cause investigations, NCRs and 8D corrective actions
- Managing supplier evaluation and approval processes
- Supporting carbon reduction and wider sustainability initiatives
- Gathering product regulatory compliance information

About You
We're looking for someone with a solid foundation in Quality and QHSE systems, who is confident working across different areas of a business and enjoys a hands-on role.
You may currently be working as a QHSE Engineer, QHSE Advisor, Quality Engineer, Quality Systems Engineer, Quality Advisor or similar.

You'll ideally have:
- Experience working with ISO 9001 and internal auditing
- Experience with one or more of AS9100D, ISO 13485, IATF 16949, ISO 14001 or ISO 45001
- Experience carrying out internal and/or supplier audits
- Understanding of root cause analysis, NCRs and corrective actions
- Experience supporting risk assessments and H&S activities
- NEBOSH or IOSH qualification would be advantageous
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A practical, collaborative approach and the confidence to work with colleagues, customers and suppliers at all levels
