Help shape a consistent QHSE culture across Solsta

We are looking for a proactive QHSE Engineer to work closely with our QHSE Director, supporting and developing Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental standards across the Solsta business.

This is a varied role offering exposure across multiple locations and functions. You will help maintain our existing management systems and certifications, support the introduction of new standards and play an active role in driving continuous improvement and a consistent QHSE approach across the business.

Please note this role is based at our Head Office in Redditch, with travel to other sites as required, operating as a hybrid model with three days a week onsite.

What you will be doing

You will support a broad range of QHSE activities, including:

  • Maintaining and improving QHSE management systems.
  • Supporting ISO9001, AS9100, ISO14001 and ISO45001, together with additional standards including ISO13485 and IATF 16949.
  • Planning and conducting internal and supplier audits.
  • Supporting risk assessments, method statements and H&S compliance.

  • Preparing FAIRs and supporting customer quality requirements.
  • Monitoring QHSE KPIs and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Supporting environmental compliance, carbon reduction and sustainability initiatives.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
