QHSE Medical Officer
Locations: Norfolk, UK & New Jersey, USA
Positions: 2 – 1 x Norfolk, UK / 1 x New Jersey, USA
Contract: Offshore assignment
Rotation: 5 weeks on / 5 weeks off
Working Hours: 12-hour days
Start Date: ASAP – immediate availability strongly preferred
Rate: €700–€900 per day + allowances
The Opportunity
Mane Energy are currently recruiting two Offshore Medic / QHSE Medical Officers to support major offshore wind projects for our client, a global leader in offshore energy, marine infrastructure and related services.
We are looking for:
- 1 x Offshore Medic – Norfolk, UK
- 1 x Offshore Medic – New Jersey, USA
You will be part of the offshore project team, responsible for overseeing medical activities onboard while also supporting QHSE, occupational health, emergency preparedness and HSE compliance. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Offshore Medics to work on major international offshore wind projects with a leading marine contractor.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide medical care, emergency treatment and occupational health support to offshore personnel.
- Manage and maintain onboard medical facilities, equipment and supplies.
- Oversee occupational health and hygiene, including health surveillance and workplace monitoring.
- Support the project team with QHSE and medical matters, reporting, KPIs and communications.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, statistics and reports.
- Participate in onboard meetings, toolbox talks, emergency drills and training exercises.
- Conduct HSE/Medical inspections and ensure findings are reported and followed up.
- Support incident and non-conformity investigations.
- Promote HSE awareness and actively engage with the workforce on safety campaigns.
- Ensure medical and QHSE procedures and documentation are correctly implemented onboard.
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience as an Offshore Medic within high-risk industries.
- Valid Licensed Medic qualification.
- HSE Offshore Medic qualification or equivalent.
- Offshore Wind experience is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
- Physically fit and able to work offshore on a 5/5 rotation.

Required Certifications
- GWO Basic Safety Training or BOSIET + relevant GWO modules.
- Offshore Medical.
- HUET + CA-EBS.
- Chester Step Test (or equivalent).
- Bi-deltoid measurement.
- GWO Enhanced First Aid & Advanced Rescue Training – advantageous.
- NEBOSH Certificate/Diploma or equivalent QHSE experience – advantageous.
Location & Work Eligibility
Norfolk, UK: Candidates must hold UK citizenship/right to work in the UK and be available for offshore deployment.
New Jersey, USA: Candidates must hold a valid US B1 OCS Wind Visa and be eligible for offshore deployment in the United States.
