QIS Commodities Structurer - London

Our client, a leading player in global markets, is seeking a QIS Commodities Structurer to join our client's team in London on a permanent basis. This is an exceptional opportunity for a professional with 2-6 years' experience in Quantitative Investment Strategies to design and deliver innovative commodities linear and commodities volatility QIS solutions within an investment banking environment, with potential exposure to other asset classes.

Key Focus of the Role

  • Design, structure, and implement Commodities Linear QIS products tailored to institutional client needs.
  • Develop and manage Commodities Volatility QIS strategies to capture market opportunities and manage risk.
  • Collaborate with our client's global markets team to create solutions that integrate across asset classes.

Core Skills and Experience

  • QIS - Quantitative Investment Strategies: Experience in designing and managing rules-based or systematic investment strategies, with an emphasis on performance, risk control, and robustness.
  • COMMODITIES: Strong understanding of commodities markets, pricing dynamics, and derivatives structures applicable to QIS products.
  • Solutions Structuring: Ability to translate client objectives into structured solutions, including payoff design, risk-return optimisation, and product back-testing.
  • Structuring: Hands-on experience building, modelling, and documenting structured products for a global markets environment.
  • Equity (Exposure): Familiarity with equity-related strategies and structures, with openness to cross-asset work alongside the core commodities focus.
  • London-based Investment Banking Experience (Preferred): Background working within a global markets team, interacting with sales, trading, and risk functions.
