Location: King's Lynn, Norfolk

Salary: £28,000 to £31,000 + Benefits

The Company

Our client is a well-established regional construction and building maintenance contractor with over 40 years of experience delivering projects across East Anglia. Working across both the public and private sectors, they have built an excellent reputation for quality, reliability, and long-standing client relationships. Their services include construction, refurbishment, repairs and maintenance, mechanical and electrical works, and property development.

Performance Objectives

  • Prepare accurate cost estimates and quotations for a range of construction, refurbishment, and maintenance projects.
  • Review drawings, specifications, and tender documentation.
  • Obtain and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations.
  • Assist with the preparation and submission of competitive tenders.
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal departments throughout the tender process.
  • Support the commercial team with pricing variations and additional works.
  • Maintain accurate estimating records and cost information.
  • Assist with handovers to the delivery team following successful tenders.

Person Specification

  • Previous experience in an Estimating, Commercial, or Construction Administration role would be advantageous.
  • Experience within construction, refurbishment, or building maintenance is desirable.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational ability.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
