An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced QHSE Manager to join a growing M&E operation in a newly created position.

This is a brand-new external arm of the business, providing M&E services across a diverse portfolio of properties. As the QHSE Manager, you will play a key role in establishing and developing the QHSE function, with the opportunity to make a real impact as the business grows.

This is much more than a traditional compliance role. You will work across the full contract lifecycle, from the mobilisation and setup of new contracts through to ongoing operational delivery, while also supporting the business with new contract opportunities.

The Role...

You will be responsible for ensuring consistently high standards of Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental compliance across a varied portfolio.

Your Key Responsibilities...

  • Establishing and developing QHSE processes and standards across the new M&E operation.
  • Supporting the mobilisation of new contracts and ensuring appropriate QHSE systems are in place from day one.
  • Overseeing QHSE compliance across multiple contracts and assets.
  • Providing guidance, support and assurance to a large team of engineers and operational teams.
  • Regularly reviewing and auditing engineering compliance, documentation and processes.
  • Ensuring all relevant QHSE records, logbooks and systems are maintained accurately.
  • Identifying areas for improvement and implementing practical solutions to raise standards.
  • Supporting contract managers and operational teams with QHSE matters.
  • Assisting with the preparation and development of proposals for new business opportunities.
  • Working closely with clients and internal stakeholders to maintain strong relationships and demonstrate QHSE performance.
  • Monitoring legislation, regulatory requirements and industry best practice to ensure continued compliance.
  • Providing appropriate training, guidance and support to engineering teams.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
