Summary
One of the UK's leading privately-owned construction and utility services companies are looking to hire a Quality Advisor to join their team in Manchester.
As a Quality Advisor you will support the business to help ensure that the company HSQE Management Systems meet the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001. You will also ensure that all design, construction and commissioning activities comply with Industry standards, accreditation requirements and client specifications.
You’ll play a key role in promoting and embedding good quality practices on site.
Working closely with project teams, you will:
- Provide practical quality support and guidance across a portfolio of live construction projects
- Carry out internal audits in line with ISO 9001 and company procedures
- Support site teams with quality documentation, inspection processes and handover requirements
- Identify nonconformances, weak processes and areas for improvement—and help drive robust corrective actions
- Help ensure compliance with our HSQE Management System and contribute to continual improvement
- Act as a trusted, quality focused point of contact for clients and supply chain stakeholders

Quality Advisor Specification
- Qualified to a minimum of Level 4/HNC level in Quality/quality-related subject
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001
- CSCS Card
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and Teams
- Minimum 1 year experience in a civil engineering environment
- ISO 9001 Internal Auditor (essential)
- Qualified as a Lead Auditor (Desirable)
- Knowledge and experience of civil engineering projects (highways desirable but not essential)
- Practitioner of CQI (Desired)

Salary
Circa £43,000 - £47,000 negotiable dependant on experience plus car allowance and package including 25 days holidays and pension.
