Are you an experienced qualifications professional with a strong understanding of examinations, assessment delivery and qualification development?

Do you have experience supporting the implementation of e-assessment platforms and the confidence to step into a high-profile project where your expertise can make an immediate impact?


TPP Recruitment is supporting a respected professional membership and awarding organisation to recruit a Qualifications Development Officer on an initial temporary basis. This is an urgent appointment to support a critical programme of work involving the rollout of a new e-assessment platform, alongside longer-term qualification development projects.

Salary: £22.87 per hour (£41,628 full-time equivalent)

Employment type: Temporary initially, 3 months

Working arrangements: Fully remote working with occasional attendance required when needed

Working pattern: Full-time, 35 hours per week, with flexible working options available

About The Organisation

Our client is a well-established professional membership and awarding body with an influential role in professional education and qualification delivery.

They are currently undertaking a significant programme of work to enhance and modernise their digital assessment capability while continuing to develop and evolve their qualifications portfolio. As part of this transformation, they are seeking an experienced qualifications professional to support the successful implementation of a new e-assessment platform and contribute to future qualification development initiatives.

About The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy education team at a pivotal point in the organisation's development.

Initially, the role will focus on supporting the implementation of a new e-assessment platform, working closely with colleagues, suppliers and stakeholders to ensure testing, processes, guidance and operational activities are delivered effectively. Alongside this work, you will contribute to qualification development projects and the ongoing enhancement of assessment products and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of a new e-assessment platform
  • Coordinate testing activities, issue tracking and user acceptance processes
  • Gather requirements and contribute to process mapping exercises
  • Develop user guidance, training materials and operational documentation
  • Manage project plans, actions, timelines and risk escalation activities
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams, suppliers and stakeholders
  • Support qualification development and assessment-related projects
  • Analyse stakeholder feedback and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Produce reports, briefing papers and communications for a range of audiences
  • Help embed new systems, processes and ways of working across the organisation

Skills / Experience Required

  • Experience of qualification development within an awarding, assessment or professional education environment
  • Strong understanding of examinations and assessment processes
  • Experience supporting the implementation of e-assessment or digital assessment platforms
  • Excellent project coordination or project management skills
  • Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability
  • A proactive approach and the ability to work independently
