An established and highly regarded accountancy practice in Lowestoft is seeking a talented Qualified Accountant to join its leadership team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced practice professional who is looking to take on greater responsibility, build lasting client relationships, and ultimately progress to Partner.
The firm has a loyal and diverse client portfolio, a strong reputation across the region, and a collaborative culture that values technical excellence, client service, and entrepreneurial thinking.
The Role
Working closely with senior leadership, you will manage a portfolio of owner-managed businesses and provide trusted advice on a broad range of accounting and business matters. The successful candidate will play an important role in both client delivery and the future growth of the practice.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Managing a varied portfolio of clients across multiple sectors
- Reviewing statutory accounts and related compliance work
- Providing taxation and business advisory support
- Acting as a trusted adviser to business owners and directors
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members
- Identifying opportunities to strengthen and develop client relationships
- Contributing to the strategic growth and development of the practice

About You
You will ideally have:
- ACA or ACCA qualification
- Recent experience within an accountancy practice environment
- Strong technical knowledge of accounts preparation and review
- Experience managing client relationships and delivering high levels of service
- Excellent communication and commercial awareness
- Leadership potential and the ambition to progress into a future partner role
