About the Role
Elsby Chartered Accounts is looking to recruit an ACA/ACCA qualified, experienced Auditor with a background in small/medium-sized accountancy practice. We want to be open about what we are looking for!
We’re a training practice and we are 100% committed to the growth and development of our staff. BUT…. we have won some new business so we need to recruit an accountant who:
- Can hit the ground running in terms of technical competence with a focus on audit – you may find yourself straight in on Day One!
- Is comfortable managing audits to up to review stage
- Is based and has a right to work in the UK
- Is able to work in person with colleagues in our Rushden office and with clients at their premises across the UK during audit engagements
- Aligns with our values of working with integrity, building trustful relationships, commerciality & investing in growth

Core Accountabilities
- Deliver on time in full quality services to clients ensuring they value us as a trusted partner
- Provide clear narrative and insight to enable effective client interactions
- Monitor job budgets and highlight potential deviations or extras that keep engagements under control
- Contribute to the sustainability, profitability and continuous improvement of the practice
