Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Newport for a Qualified Conveyancer / Property Lawyer. The role involves managing a caseload of residential and commercial conveyancing matters from instruction to completion, including:

The successful candidate will liaise regularly with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other legal professionals to progress transactions and resolve issues efficiently. Daily tasks include:
- Preparing and reviewing legal documentation
- Managing exchange and completion processes
- Maintaining accurate file records
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and firm standards
The role also includes providing clear, practical advice to clients, supporting business development where appropriate, and contributing to continuous improvement of conveyancing processes.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in residential and/or commercial conveyancing, including managing property transactions from instruction to completion.
- Solid knowledge of property law and relevant regulations across England and Wales, with a focus on risk management and compliance.
- Excellent client communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal issues clearly and manage expectations throughout the transaction.
- Proven organizational and time-management abilities, including handling multiple files, meeting deadlines, and working accurately under pressure.
- Competence in using case management systems and standard office software, with careful attention to document drafting and file maintenance.
- Qualified as a Licensed Conveyancer, Solicitor, or Chartered Legal Executive (or equivalent experience in conveyancing practice).
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team, while also managing responsibilities independently.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality service, with a commercially aware and solutions-focused approach to client matters.
