Nursery – Bright Horizons Bank Street Day Nursery and Preschool
Location – Canary Wharf, London Salary – Starting from £14.41 / £14.98 per hour (dependent on qualification/s and experience)

About the Role
Our purpose-built nursery, located in the heart of Canary Wharf, is designed to support the best possible experiences for both children and staff. Each age-specific room is crafted to create a warm, “home from home” atmosphere. Additionally, it’s conveniently positioned near Jubilee Line and DLR stations, making commuting a breeze from across London.
Key Responsibilities
Within this dynamic role, you’ll seamlessly blend bank/agency work convenience with the security and perks of full employment. You’ll support colleagues in delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), engaging children in fun, educational activities, and fostering their development towards key milestones.
As part of a larger team, your responsibilities will also include:
- Assisting daily tasks (e.g., room tidying and preparation)
- Adhering to safeguarding and child protection policies with ethical diligence

Requirements
To excel in this role, we’re seeking:
- A full and relevant Level 2/3 or above Early Years qualification
- Previous experience with children – such as a Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator, Nanny, or Childminder
- A passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
- Communication skills to effectively engage with children and adults alike
- Excellent understanding of child protection and safeguarding
- Flexibility and adaptability
