Nursery – Bright Horizons Bank Street Day Nursery and Preschool

Location – Canary Wharf, London Salary – Starting from £14.41 / £14.98 per hour (dependent on qualification/s and experience)

Do you want to work for an organisation whose culture is driven by our HEART principles – Honesty, Excellence, Accountability, Respect, and Teamwork? A place where you can be yourself, feel supported, make a real difference to the next generation, and confidently say: “I did that.” We’re looking for a flexible working practitioner to join our Bright Flex / Bank team at our Bank Street Day Nursery & Preschool.

About the Role

Our purpose-built nursery, located in the heart of Canary Wharf, is designed to support the best possible experiences for both children and staff. Each age-specific room is crafted to create a warm, “home from home” atmosphere. Additionally, it’s conveniently positioned near Jubilee Line and DLR stations, making commuting a breeze from across London.

Key Responsibilities

Within this dynamic role, you’ll seamlessly blend bank/agency work convenience with the security and perks of full employment. You’ll support colleagues in delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), engaging children in fun, educational activities, and fostering their development towards key milestones.

As part of a larger team, your responsibilities will also include:

  • Assisting daily tasks (e.g., room tidying and preparation)
  • Adhering to safeguarding and child protection policies with ethical diligence

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
