Responsibilities

As an Early Years Teacher, you’ll craft engaging learning experiences that help each child reach their full potential. Your role includes:

  • Designing stimulating indoor and outdoor environments tailored to individual child needs
  • Conducting accurate, actionable assessments aligned with developmental stages and EYFS requirements
  • Fostering strong partnerships with colleagues and families for cohesive childcare
  • Applying diverse communication techniques (verbal/written) to keep staff and parents informed
  • Safeguarding every child’s well-being in accordance with our safeguarding policies.

Requirements

To succeed here, you must hold:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS), Early Years Practitioner Status (EYPS), or a Level 6 Early Years Qualification
  • In-depth knowledge of EYFS standards and best practices
  • Safeguarding expertise and an unwavering commitment to child protection
  • Strong communication skills and an ability to build authentic trust with colleagues and families
  • A playful, inclusive philosophy for engaging every learner optimally
