Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Qualified Electrician role. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in line with current regulations and safety standards. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing faults, performing troubleshooting, completing routine and preventative maintenance, and carrying out electrical upgrades as required. The electrician will interpret technical drawings and specifications, ensure compliance with relevant codes, and complete accurate documentation of work performed. Collaboration with colleagues, liaising with clients, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment are also key aspects of the role.

  • Candidates should possess strong knowledge of electricity principles and safe working practices.
  • Candidates should possess skills in electrical work, including installation, wiring, and commissioning of systems.
  • Candidates should possess abilities in maintenance & repair of electrical equipment and infrastructure.
  • Candidates should possess troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving electrical faults efficiently.
  • Candidates should possess understanding of electrical engineering concepts relevant to system design and performance.
  • Recognized electrical qualifications, such as NVQ level 3 or equivalent, and relevant certifications (e.g., 18th edition local code compliance) are required.
  • Experience in residential, commercial, or industrial electrical environments is advantageous.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail, adherence to safety procedures, and reliable time management.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally for jobs as required.
