Allerton Bishop is proud to be partnering with an established international biopharmaceutical company focused on developing and delivering innovative medicines that address complex and underserved patient needs.
Our client is looking to appoint two Qualified Persons (QPs) to join its dedicated team in North West England. They are open to considering both newly qualified QPs and experienced professionals, making this an excellent opportunity for individuals at different stages of their QP career.
The role offers the opportunity to contribute across pharmaceutical development and manufacturing, playing an important part in ensuring patient safety, product quality and regulatory compliance.
The Role
As a Qualified Person (QP), you will:
- Play a key role in the certification and release of pharmaceutical products, ensuring compliance with applicable UK and EU regulatory requirements.
- Support batch disposition activities and help maintain the highest standards of quality and GMP compliance.
- Contribute across pharmaceutical development and production, ensuring safety, quality and compliance are embedded throughout.
- Promote a culture of quality and operational excellence, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide quality expertise and support during regulatory audits and inspections.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders across a complex pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

About You
The successful candidate will:
- Be eligible to act as a Qualified Person (QP) within the pharmaceutical industry, with experience in sterile manufacturing and Quality Assurance.
- Hold a degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant scientific discipline, such as biology, biochemistry, chemistry or pharmacy.
- Have strong technical knowledge of the manufacture of sterile biological drug products.
- Have an understanding of GMP requirements and relevant UK and EU pharmaceutical regulations.
- Be able to contribute to regulatory submissions and support site audits and inspections.
- Demonstrate strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively across different functions and stakeholders.
- Be fluent in written and spoken English.
- Have a proactive approach to quality and continuous improvement.
