About the Role
As the Qualified Supervisor, you'll play a key role in maintaining DFP Services' technical and compliance standards. Working closely with operational managers and electricians, you'll be responsible for ensuring electrical work is completed in accordance with BS7671, NICEIC requirements and company procedures.
This role offers the opportunity to shape the technical standards of a growing business while supporting the development of engineers and helping drive future growth within specialist sectors such as EV charging, renewable technologies, testing and compliance services.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Acting as the company's nominated Qualified Supervisor for NICEIC accreditation.
- Ensuring all electrical installation work complies with the current edition of BS7671 Wiring Regulations.
- Carrying out technical audits, site inspections and quality assurance checks.
- Reviewing and signing off electrical certification and associated documentation.
- Providing technical support and guidance to electricians and apprentices.
- Assisting with preparation for NICEIC assessments and compliance audits.
- Supporting the development and implementation of safe systems of work.
- Investigating technical issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Monitoring regulatory changes and ensuring company compliance.
- Supporting training, mentoring and development of engineering staff.
- Liaising with clients, surveyors and regulatory bodies where required.
- Assisting with estimating and pricing of electrical works when necessary.

What You'll Bring
We're looking for a motivated professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality work and excellent customer service.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience as a Qualified Supervisor or Senior Electrician.
- Extensive knowledge of BS7671 and electrical compliance requirements.
- City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification (or equivalent).
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
- Completed recognised electrical apprenticeship.
- Strong understanding of NICEIC requirements and auditing processes.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to mentor and develop engineering teams.
- Strong organisational and documentation skills.
- A full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable:
- Previous experience working within care homes, educational facilities, or public sector contracts.
- Experience managing remedial works and compliance programmes.
- Experience using CAFM systems and digital certification platforms.
- SSSTS or SMSTS qualification.
- EV Charging, Solar PV or Renewable Energy qualifications.
