As our business continues to grow into larger commercial and industrial projects, we are looking to strengthen our management team by recruiting an experienced Qualified Supervisor (QS).
We are open to structuring this role around the right individual. Depending on your skills and experience, the position could be:
- Part-time office-based QS, focusing on certification, compliance, technical support and quality assurance.
- Full-time hybrid QS/Senior Electrician, splitting your time between office-based QS duties and leading electrical installation projects on site.
Our priority is finding the right person rather than forcing them into a fixed role.
Essential Requirements
- City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing) or equivalent.
- Extensive experience within the electrical industry.
- Excellent knowledge of inspection, testing and certification.
- High standards of workmanship and attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of current electrical regulations and industry best practice.
- Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions.
- Highly organised, self-disciplined and professional.
- Full UK driving licence.

The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who takes genuine pride in their work and maintains exceptionally high standards. You will be someone who:

- Is confident supporting engineers and maintaining technical compliance.
- Wants to help shape and improve the business rather than simply complete the day's work.
- Is comfortable taking ownership and responsibility.
Responsibilities
Depending on the agreed role, responsibilities may include:
- Inspection, testing and certification.
- Reviewing completed works and ensuring compliance.
- Providing technical guidance to engineers.
- Supporting quality assurance and company procedures.
- Managing NICEIC compliance requirements.
- Assisting with project planning and technical problem solving.
- Carrying out electrical installation work on commercial and industrial projects where applicable.
- Leading site teams and maintaining high installation standards.
