About Teachers Delivered
Teachers Delivered is a UK tutoring platform that only works with qualified, experienced teachers. Families come to us because every tutor is a qualified teacher with an Enhanced DBS check that we have verified, so you're never competing with students or unqualified tutors on price.
The role
You'll tutor pupils one to one, online or in person, at times you choose. You're self-employed and teach families directly; we find the families, take the bookings and handle the payments.
Subjects and levels
We welcome qualified teachers of every subject we cover, from Key Stage 1, Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3 to the 11-plus, GCSE, A-level and IB:
- English: English, English Language, English Literature and English Comprehension
- Maths: Maths, Further Maths and Additional Maths (FSMQ)
- Sciences: Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Astronomy
- Humanities and social sciences: History, Geography, Religious Studies, Economics, Business Studies, Accounting, Psychology, Sociology, and Government and Politics
- Languages: French, Spanish, German, Mandarin, Latin and Arabic
- Arts, media and design: Music, Art and Design, Drama, Design and Technology, Media Studies, Photography and Film Studies
- Computing: Computer Science
- PE, sport and health: Physical Education, Sports Studies and Health Studies

What you'll need
- A recognised teaching qualification: QTS, PGCE, BEd, CELTA or equivalent
- Real classroom experience in a school, college or other educational setting
- A valid Enhanced DBS certificate for work with children (a PVG record in Scotland, or Enhanced AccessNI in Northern Ireland). We can't accept overseas police certificates.
- To be based in the UK, with a UK bank account for payouts

What you get
- You set your own rate for an hour-long lesson (the minimum is £40) and keep 80% of it
- You choose your hours, including daytime, and whether you teach online, in person or both. For in-person lessons, you decide how far you'll travel.
- When a family posts what they need, we send it to up to six teachers who fit, so work comes to you
- Parents pay by card when they book, so there's no chasing money; payouts go to your bank account through Stripe
- Online lessons run in our own video classroom with a shared whiteboard, with nothing to install
- It's free to join, with no subscription: we only take our 20% when you're booked
